Where This Comes From

Growing up beside something extraordinary

Growing up beside it gave me something no training programme could.

I grew up in the orbit of the entertainment industry. Not from the outside looking in — from the inside. I watched artists, musicians, athletes and their families navigate the decisions and turning points that come with a public life.

I was not supposed to be taking notes. I wasn’t. But I was listening.

Growing up in that world did not give me the answers. It gave me the context to ask better questions. It gave me a lifetime of understanding what the industry really is — not the version from the outside, but the real one. The texture of a life built around craft, commitment and the particular kind of discipline it takes to keep going.

Twenty-five years across entertainment, media, retail, sales, politics and global organisations gave me something no training programme could replicate — context. I have sat inside the rooms, beside the decisions, and alongside the people navigating them. CEOs, artists, politicians, athletes, executives. Not as a coach — as someone who was already there. That cross-sector range is what makes this practice genuinely different. It is not borrowed knowledge. It is lived.

The Diploma in Business Administration grounds this practice in the operational and commercial reality of how organisations and careers are actually built — not just how they are imagined.
